Walkerville Parent and Toddler Group would like to offer a warm, friendly welcome to local families with children aged

1-5 years.

We are a long established group, ran and organised by local volunteers. We are affiliated with NAPI (Newcastle Action for Parent and Toddler Groups Initiative). All our volunteers have appropriate police checks.

​

We have lots of baby/toddler safe toys and encourage free play for the first hour. Parents can enjoy a drink while supervising their little ones. We also have a designated ‘baby’ area. Next we have 20 minutes of action songs and a story. Meanwhile our fabulous volunteers are setting up a dining area, for the children to receive  drinks, healthy snacks and biscuits after their songtime. After this, we get different toys out, including balls, tents and hula-hoops. We often, also, have a parachute session.

 

Walkerville Parent and Toddler Group is a non- profit making enterprise. Fees are used to pay for hall hire costs, to buy snacks and drinks for the sessions, any new equipment needed and we donate to charities, such as ‘Save the Children’ and ‘Daft as a Brush’.

We welcome all children under 5, including those with disabilities.
